Alchemiter shenanigans
Jun. 21st, 2012 12:58 pmHow do you steer a ship that isn't a ship?
By which I mean: an Alchemiter team. Or in the case of mine, two teams combined. Alchemiter's tricky because it's a fallback for most people, and attrition's been pretty ridiculous right from the start. Add in a mid-stream team switch and a comm change, and...ffffft.
I know attrition happens. But one despairs a little bit, and one is eager for suggestions on how to help get people jazzed up in the absence of any particular OTP I want to do right by my team and, you know, win the entire olympics and rule the world. How would you do it?

Date: 2012-06-21 08:13 pm (UTC)The advantage of your team is that you can handle anything that's not being done! Why not start a discussion post about rarepairs? Or rare poly ships! Or any other really weird ships that they think could work. Pique some interest, get some creative thinking going on. Encourage people to share written fic/art of their favourite weird pairings, but try to scoot off of the ones that have teams. We have a lot of rarepair teams this year! But the world is still the Alchemiter oyster.
